Harrington Hats is a small, independent millinery brand. It was founded by Sinéad Harrington in 2013 in Northamptonshire, England, and is now based in Ireland.
Sinéad makes handcrafted hats and headpieces. We do not sell mass-produced caps.

Why people contact us
The names are similar, so it’s easy to mix them up. Hundreds of people have contacted us about orders that didn’t arrive or weren’t what they expected. We understand why people are upset. We just aren’t the company they bought from.
What customers have told us
Many customers have shared their experiences with us and in a public Facebook group. Based on those reports:
- Harrington Co Hatters is believed to be operating from China.
- Many people say their orders never arrived.
- Many people who did receive orders say the quality was well below what they expected.
- Some people say the business presented itself as Irish, or as having Irish heritage.
Harrington Hats is a real Irish-based business. It has nothing to do with Harrington Co Hatters.
What we’ve done
We have reported the similar names, and our concerns, to Facebook several times. So far we have not had a response. We’ll keep trying.
If you bought from Harrington Co Hatters

- If you paid by credit or debit card, call your bank. Ask about a “chargeback”. There are time limits, so do this soon.
